Summary

Funded as part of the Ecological Forecasting grant, the Cyberinfrastructure project is focused on one simple goal, 'to share KBS data via the Internet.' To accomplish this goal, three components were developed: a web mapping platform used to publish GIS-based mapping applications, a metadata catalog that provides data storage, search, visualization, and download capabilities, and the new website. The Geodata page on the new website is the gateway for accessing all the components of the of Cyberinfrastructure project.
