Aerial Photography
Description
KARS provides access to Kansas historical aerial photography through its in-house archive of black and white USDA photographs, as well as ordering assistance for nationwide NAAP and NHAP photography. KARS' collection contains hundreds of black and white 9" x 9" aerial photographs (1:20,000 and 1:40,000).

Public access to the archive is welcome, but appointments are requested.
Fees
On-site access to the archive is free. Assistance and copy services are available at $35 per hour.

Search Services
Description
Aerial photography can be located and obtained for anywhere in the United States. Using the Aerial Photography Summary Record System (APSRS) database, and other electronic databases, our research experts can identify aerial projects flown by government agencies and private industry and provide access to photography.
Coverage
Variable. Depending on customer needs, copies of photos from a variety of Federal and private archives, projects, and programs can be obtained.
