A group of researchers at KARS participated in the Biofuels, Climate Change and Mitigation: Annual Research Symposium on August 15 and 16, 2012 at The University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas. The symposium was presented jointly by the Biofuels and Climate Change: Farmers' Land Use Decisions and the Climate Change and Mitigation Teams, with support from the Kansas NSF Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research, the Kansas Board of Regents, and The Commons. The interdisciplinary team of researchers from across the state presented research on biofuels, climate change and mitigation in Kansas.

KARS Researchers Present Posters at Statewide EPSCoR Conference

A number of KARS and KBS researchers made presentations at the 2009 Kansas Statewide EPSCoR Conference in Manhattan, KS, in October. The purpose of the conference was to provide information about recent EPSCoR research and its importance to Kansans as well as to provide opportunities for research collaboration.

KU Works for Kansas: Protecting the Prairie
